Healthy Grape Nuts Breakfast Bars

This healthful breakfast bar is delicious as well as nutritious. Don’t waste your money on processed breakfast bars…why not make your own instead?

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Grape Nuts cereal
  • 1 cup nonfat or low fat milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup dried fruit such as raisins or craisins
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a nonstick 9-in square baking dish.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes, or until firm.
  4. Cool and cut into 12 squares.
