Asian Seared Salmon

Seared-salmonIf possible, purchase salmon fillets with the skin still attached. The skin will help keep the salmon moist. The skin will also develop a nice crispy texture when cooked. Chinese 5 star spice can be found in the international foods isle of your local grocery store. Make sure you use fresh ginger root (not dry ginger found in the spices isle) for the best flavor.
